Seth's last race was in Kansas City, KS. Grand Am/we have never been to this track, so I left the kids at my house with my mom. It has been a LONG time since I've been to a race sans kids. Seth's parents and their friends came and we had fun exploring the area. Every chain retail store and restaurant is in a 2 mile radius of the track. We had an afternoon of shopping...again, it's been a long time since I've been shopping sans kids. We hung out at the casino that overlooks the track. I watched half of the race from the pits! That was the best! Seth and Dan finished 6th and are tied with the #82 Bimmerworld car for 3rd. The last two races of the season will be interesting!
I hope Grand Am races here next year, as it's the perfect place for kids. There is a playground in the infield and a Great Wolf Lodge nearby. The kids will absolutely love it.
