Stairs to Nowhere...for now!

They are working on the trusses above the main level. They have framed the garage and added stairs to the second level!!

It's amazing how quickly the framing goes up! The main level is coming along quickly!

The white stuff is a soap like substance they add to make it easier to drill.

They drilled down 400 feet.

Subflooring

We will start the main level framing tomorrow!! It will really begin to take shape. Earlier today was a sheet of ice on the floor from the snow we got Thursday and Saturday.

We haven't gotten much done with Christmas, low temperatures, and (thank goodness!!) rain. We are now ready to start framing!
