They are starting to build the chimney. Eventually, it will be a two-way fireplace (in the living room and on the back deck).

We have a roof! Next, they will install the windows and doors. Today, we met with the electrician. There is SO much to think about in terms of where you want your outlets and switches. I hope we cover it all!!

Tornado.

The Channel 2 news station reported on Saturday, March 15th that a tornado touched down in Cumming on Fast Lane. Seth and I went by to check and the fence between his parents' house and our house was completely down! There was no real damage done to our house or theirs. Thank goodness!

This is the tree in front of Ken and Kathy's house (Seth's aunt and uncle). They have a circular driveway and luckily it didn't hit Ken's nearby parked truck or their house.

Shingles!

They just started putting shingles on today!

I spoke to Wayne, our framer, today and he said they would be finished on Wednesday with the framing! I can not believe it! The house wrap is on and they are going to start putting shingles on this week. Today, they started on the plumbing. Below are pictures of our tubs (there is one on the main level and two upstairs). The shower is off of the portion above the garage. It will remain unfinished for the time being.
