Adelyn's Baptism

Adelyn has had quite the journey in getting saved, and I love her story. I love it because she put a lot of thought into it, and I know she didn't do it on a whim. You can read more here

She was baptized at Mountain Lake and at Oak Grove (and she joined Oak Grove). Both were meaningful in their own ways. Her baptism was July 15th, 2018.

And Bert!

Grandma plays the piano at church and helps Adelyn every week. This is the church Seth grew up in.
My parents were in town for the event too! They went to the NC mountains for a couple days after keeping the kids from our Portugal trip and then returned for the baptism
Molly Kate was also baptized. Molly Kate and Adelyn attended Fideles together.
Pastor Craig and Adelyn
Craig was the PE Teacher at Cumming Elementary when I taught there, so I have known him for quite some time and have always thought highly of him. He's still a PE Coach and the pastor of Oak Grove.

Emily also sang on this day! How special!
We hosted family and friends for lunch at our house afterwards. About 30 people came for barbecue that Seth smoked all night long. It was so good!

Adelyn has a heart of gold, and now that sweet heart belongs to Jesus. July 15th was a great day!
